After my own research, I believe this to be an Italian porcelain Barbotine Majolica vase with applied applies (I think they're all apples...) and painted foliage. 10" tall, "Hand Painted Italy" on the bottom
Complete set in storage box. Only markings stamped 800 with a triangular symbol. Small so it’s either tea or child’s set. Intricate rose pattern. Can send photos.
Service for 8 includes dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, dessert bowls, tea cups and saucers. Also 1 each: serving platter, side dish, creamer and sugar bowl.
Pieces range from like new to very good condition with some wear mainly on the inner gold rim of the plates. The gold relief is perfectly intact.
2 chips as photographed - on the back of one plate and bottom of one cup.
I have had this beautiful vase for quite some time but have not been able to identify it or find any information about it. It is very heavy and stands 16"tall and is 7" across. It is however very narrow. There are no markings on the bottom or anywhere else.
