L. Barth & Son cup

Category
Silver and Silver Overlay
Condition
Poor
Description

I found this cup along with a bowl next to some dumpsters.  I don't think it's worth much, I've found out that most of the pieces like it were used in hotel dining rooms.  I would like to get some more info about it though, like what might it have been used for.

It's very tarnished, is heavier that it looks, has 2 handles - a flat bottom with a small ridge around it.  The top is smaller than the bottom. It's stamped "L Barth & Son Inc" on the bottom inside a logo and also says "New York", "5174" and "14oz."  The handles have a little bit of decorative work on the tops.

The porcelain vase is been inherited by a great grandfather. He most probably bought it from Russian merchants during 1910 - 1920. Its condition is excellent. Decorated with turquoise and white semi precious stones, fine carvings and gold painted artwork.

Waltham Pocket Watch - Model 1887

Category
Watches and Timepieces
Condition
Good
Description

This is the first pocket watch i've seen even, I did what research I could and this is what I came up with. My question is, To get it mechanically functional what sort of price range am I looking at? I was told from the guy I got it from that it was in working order until he moved the tiny cog in the center of the guts asoon as you open the back. Also, Do you have any idea the value of this particular pocket watch? I'm most interested in resale, It has no other value to me personally.

Addition details - The back cover has "America CO Waltham Mass Warrented Coin Silver" Stamped into the back, And in the rim what appears to be "blb", and what looks hand engraved Very tiny "9998" with a upside down "T" Figure.

Thanks for the help! :)
