Little Orphan Annie character child's crochet tool /toy. Lithographed paper around red painted wooden cylinder. Cyclinder has a hole running the length of the piece so that yarn can pass through and out of the end. Four tiny brads at the top of cylinder held the yarn.
Been in the family for years. Belonged to a family member who was from the New England area.
Antique Chinese Vase I just recently aquired so I know very little about except it has the earmarks of being a very old piece & that it is absolutely stunning, with deep, rich colors, no chips or any noticeable damage beyond normal wear.
Pump Organ that plays well with lovely tone. Has 11 stops (3 without labels). All ivories are in good condition. Two keys have reeds that do not function. One is in the high treble end of keyboard and the other is in the lower bass register. The wood is in very good condition and the unit includes an antique piano stool which was purchased separately and is of a slightly different wood tone.
I have an early 30's Fascinator guitar that belonged to my great grandfather. It was made in Kalamazoo, Michigan by the Tonk Brothers (famous for Gibson and other high end guitars) I'm aware this isn't worth near as much as a gibson, but it's very rare and I have never seen another one like it. It is missing the pick guard. Has original tuners and bridge (i believe). It has a large V shaped neck, no truss rod. Is able to get up to tune and hold, however the neck is beginning to detach from the body so I leave the string tension low. Hopefully someone can tell me something more about it. Unfortunately the pictures of the front and back are too large to upload here. It is an arch-top with f-holes. Looks to me to be stained Mahogany, no sunburst or anything.
I got this dresser from an upholstery storage unit. I liked the piece and she maid the offering price and I accepted. It's got a badge stating the company and location.
