Almost complete set (12 place settings) of Ancestral/American Hostess Corp. china. Wide burgundy border with ornate 22 kt. gold trim. At least 125 years old - grandmothers china.
It is a Bulova Acutron watch with diamonds on the gold Speidel band. It is still in the original box and has never been worn. It has the Wagner Castings Company logo on the watch.
This was given to me by my mom, who had purchased it from a friend. I'm afraid I don't know anything about it, other than it is a lovely piece and we frequently get compliments for it. There are no identifying marks in the drawers. As soon as I can move it to get behind it, I'll edit if I find anything on the back. It has a curved glass door and beveled mirror. It is a china cabinet and buffet in one piece. Unfortunately it does not fit our home here, so I would like to sell it. If anyone has an idea of time period, style, etc, that would be very helpful. Master tripod made by Wil-Sel Products n Chicago, Illinois. Appears to be old but is in good condition with case. Also has the Wil-Sel Products logo on top. Interchangable bottom, round or pointed. Adjustable. Possibly made in the 1920's, not positive though.
my father in law bought for an unknown price in 1979 @ a garage sale. 4 drawers, 2 big, 2 small. middle drawer has design. all drawers have 2 nobs. i dont believe either of the 2 nob designs r original but im not sure. wooden wheels. has been painted. very sturdy but missing nobs & 1wheel. looking for help on finding value, history & age. were these things made to order? any info would be greatly apreciated. 4 some reason the site wont let me post more than 1 photo but i do have closeups of wheels, bottom ( looks hand carved) design, middle drawer design & so on. please help, thank you.
