THE HANDLE IS HAND CARVED AND VERY UNIQUE IN SHAPE.lOOKED AT A LOT OF KNIVES ON LINE AND NEVER SEEN ANOTHER LIKE IT. I MIGHT SELL IF i KNEW THE VALUE OF IT FIRST.
This is a footed vase and the owl and rest of decorations on the side of the vase are raised...I don't know what the picture is made with, but it feels like braille when you run your fingers over it. It is in excellent condition and is so ugly its almost beautiful. Any info would be appreciated or if anyone has an others that look like this one?
Trying to identify a trunk that I have from my late father. We grew up in Northwest New Jersey, and my father was an avid collector of 16th – 18th century antiques – our homes were featured in Colonial Homes and other magazines (this was 30 years ago). I have a trunk that I am trying to identify. I have photos of the trunk, see attached. If you have the time, can you assist me in the identification of this trunk?
Unfortunelty don't have alot of information on this item. I am assuming it is hand painted from the Fima gallery, however I have no idea of age or value. Pictures may help
