Like new Model 48 Normandie stand hair dryer, All chrome original everything, including the cord. Works perfect. Has a burnt out light bulb. Burnt out the second time I turned it on. Motor, heat, and light all work like new.
Bought it from an antique shop in Los Angeles in 1988, you can see from photo that it IS Chief Iron Tail, Indian Nickel model, original photo, 8X10, but frame is only 30 years old. Frame is imbedded with Indian Nickels, showing relevance with original Iron Tail photo.
Acquired a heavy wooden table, of high quality for an incredibly low price. Upon Inspection the dating, brand, and collection name were all stamped on the underside of the table. The chairs also have identification codes stamped on them, so it occurred to me that some expert consultation was needed...
Figurine of five boys playing cards. Four cheaters with one boy observing. Cannot find any reference to this item.
It was handed down to a friend from her mother who bought it from a dealer. The dealer claimed it was "old" but was not very specific. She desperately wants to sell it and has been getting a lot of uneducated advice from clueless friends and family,, and I'm afraid she'll sell it for far less than it's worth.
I'd just like to get a starting point, some reference as to whether it's genuine, a knockoff or something else.
