This print was given to us by an elderly friend as appreciation for our help. Her late husband brought this back home from Japan at the end of WWII. This wood block print was hidden behind a rather ordinary watercolor and was discovered quite by accident. Because it was kept from the light through the years, the colors are still quite vibrant. I actually have two of these prints. I think they may be Chinese but I am not certain. The background is silver. I am hoping that someone can read the writing on the fan and tell me. I hope to find out if they have any value.

Found it in the kitchen of a house built in 1910. Looks very old, as I took it down the wiring looked ancient So much dust and accumulation on the top part I cant seem to find anything about the maker or year. There are 5 light sockets and the wiring is all in tact. Looking for any help, on the maker, or the year, or even the value! Thanks in advance!
