My grandfather was a radioman on a navy ship during ww2. He would get and decode morse code transmsions. This is the original letter he decoded notifying the ship of the japanese surrender
This rocker is made of light oak wood. Excellent condition. The wood is still shiny from the gloss. Found it in the Delphos catalog of 1950 but not a price. Honestly it's in such good shape that I thought at first maybe it was 10 years old until I looked it up. The yellow tag with red writing on the bottom is still brightly colored and looks great.
