This is beleived to be an immortelle globe from the late 18th cent. or the early 19th. cent.-inside is a 12" tall cross covered in green velour. - surrounded by beaded glass flowers - representing cala lilys, hyacinths, baby's breath, ivy, clovers, etc.-the flower blossoms are pearls, large glass beads or silver beads.-the stamins appear to be gold beads. The cross is mounted on a two step velour covered stand. - The glass dome is 14"high x 12" dia. standing on a 14" dia turned rosewood base.
