I am trying to determine the value of my grandparents furniture.  My understanding is that they bought it in NYC back in 1926. No manufacturers name on any pieces.

 I have a pair of colonial figurine lamps... one of a colonial lady and one of a gentleman. They stand upon a metal brass base. The lady figurine lamp has Excelsior engraved on the metal part where the light bulb goes. The gentleman figurine lamp has Leviton engraved on the metal part where the light bulb goes. Only the gentleman has "Made in U.S.A." engraved on it.

The ones I have look really similar to this lamp picture here. The base of this lamp is ALMOST identical to the ones I have. The paint on the lamp figurines I have aren't as solid as this one though. There are gold paint accents on mine.

I was wondering when these types of lamps were made, the history of them, and how much they cost now. I was wondering if they are actually antique. It has the print "Betson Handpainted, Japan" on the underside of the figurines... what time period is this?

This is a tea/coffee (?) set with 6 cups/saucers.  The set is in very good condition - some of the gold has faded/rubbed on the tea pot and some of the handles.

The porcelain mark did not photograph well, but it is the same as the one found in the following link, but has a number to the left.
