CAP Barbell Plate 25LB.

Category
Other
Condition
Excellent
Description

This weight plate is unique in that it has a misspelling by the manufacturer. We have the entire set, however only one plate is spelled incorrectly. Instead of saying BARBELL, it reads BABRELL on both sides of the plate. The lettering is not only printed, but it is part of the iron, so I figure the mold that made it is also misspelled. I have included pictures of each side to show that both sides are misspelled.

The wood is in fairly good shape, but would need some additional pieces which a wood worker could make easily.

Watercolor - Niagara Falls, Turn of the century

Category
Paintings
Condition
Excellent
Description

Painting was purchased from his brothers estate, Admiral Sir Wilmont Fawkes in 1925-6 in Crowborough, Sussex England. The painting seems to be a gift from sibling to the other, Still in original frame with label from the framemaker whole and intact. I can not tell if the actual painting is signed as there is the 3" matt surrounding a portion of the painting. In remarkable condition with no spotting on the painting whatso ever. Files are to big for close up of labels but they are original to the framing of the painting
