This is a water server with tipper. the piece has been in the family for 30 years. My father purchased it from a friend for my mother. the cup that came with it is made by middle town plate co.(number-126).
I have 12 place setting of this china. it is platinum bamboo painting with greyish birds. It has dinner plates, small plates, 2 small bowl sizes, 6 finger bowls, saucers, teacups, gravy boat, 2 serving platters, a serving bowl, tea pot, cream and sugar bowl. One or two plates have minor chips on the edges but otherwise, the set is perfect. It has spent 50 years in a box in my grandma's basement. Any info on its value would be greatly appreciated.
I bought this Hall custard cup at estate sale. Very cheap. The blue sash on this piece is above flowers and all others I have seen the sash is below flowers. Just wondering if china is like coins and a misprint/misstrike makes the piece have greater value. Thanks for any help.
