The stamp is round with two hammer like objects crossed in an x formation It has the numbers 5051 stamp and the number 7 under that. Its very ornate with a flower pattern
Beutifull piece with alot of detail such as serpent head for spout and acorn handle on the lid. Detail on every part of this piece. I will send photos on request unfortunately this site is not allowing me to upload.

Purchased from Tokyo, Japan circa. 1989. "Classic" landscape scene. Black and White.
The visible parts of the screen are in great condition for it's age. Dark brown wooden frame is still glossy. "Brass" decorative fittings are bright. The back of the screen is almost perfect, and there are no rips to the backing.
Screen is fairly large measuring 66" x 36" and is about 0.75" thick. The surface is not paper. I was told at the time it is painted on Gold Leaf.
