We just bought a house that was built in 1991. This brass and crystal/glass chandelier with number E-28026-S came with it. It has a pineapple motif with 8 candle lamps.
My fiance bought this from his friend. There is no known history or origin not exactly sure of the material either. I'm guessing wood and tin but not sure. There were leather handles on both sides but one has broken off. The lock on the front says corbin lock New Britain Conn. The inside tray is missing and it smells like rotten wood. Could you give an estimated value as it is and would it lose value restored? We will most likely be listing it for sale.
I found this Rosenthal vase while picking through a new and used shop, thought it was absolutely beautiful. I was wondering if you could give me any information on it and possibly what it would be worth.
This rocking chair has been in my family for at least four generations. The story that was told to me was that it was in my great grandfathers home at the beginning of an estate appraisal many many years ago and the appraiser told the family to take it out of the house because he didn't want to know it was there for the appraisal?
I have looked all over for some sort of identification on it about who manufactured it or when it was built and I can find nothing. Nor can I find anything online that looks similar to it. I am hoping to finally get some answers here.
