Was wondering if anyone knew what this is called, perhaps its value and year range? Its a copper pouring vessel. Only says India on bottom engraved in dots. We had it for 20 years on a shelf, came from an old house we cleaned so many years ago.

Chittenden & Eastman hutch

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Fair
Description

I have a Chittenden & Eastman hutch that belonged to my husband’s mother.

She passed in 1979 and was in her 70’s. I do not know how long she had it before her passing.

I was hoping I could get any information at all about the hutch, so when it’s passed down to our children, I can let them know it’s history. It seems to be in pretty decent shape besides the broken glass on the left side. It’s a small hutch. At 58 inches tall, 3 ft wide and 14 inches thick. The castors are made of wood. Also, if anyone knows where I could go to have the broken glass repaired, that would be helpful. I live in Sacramento California. Thanks for your help.

Arcadian fine china Newark, NJ Spring Glory pattern set

Category
China
Condition
Mint
Description

I have inherited some fine china sets from my deceased parents and am trying to get an idea of the value since from my research it seems varied.  The first is a 40 pc set Valmont China Japan Royal Wheat including a complete service for 8 with dinner plates, cups, saucers, dessert plates, serving platter, salt and pepper shakers, cream and sugar containers, a serving bowl and butter dish all in pristine never used condition that my father gave his mother when he was released from the Army in the early 1960's.

The next set is Arcadian fine china Newark, New York Spring Glory pattern in an unusual setup.  It includes a service for 6 of cups and saucers, dessert bowls, large serving platter, medium serving platter, cream and sugar set, and a covered serving dish.  This belonged to my stepmother and am unsure of its provenance.  I have not really been able to get an idea of its value since it's an unusual setup.  The dishes are also in pristine condition and look to have never been used but I am unsure of this.  Could someone help me with this information? I am including pictures for ease of reference as well.
