This is a safe which has a handle to open, a small key and twisting handle to unlock. It is dated 1847 from Miller's Safe and Iron Works and it is numbered 607 right above the key. Inside are three compartments with two drawers. Not excatly sure about the weight, but it is on four rolling casters that only roll one direction.
I was told that this set is from the early 1950's and is Art Deco. I would like to know if this is true and would like any other information on it. There is a tag on the chairs which read " Creations In Metal By Lloyd, Lloyd Manufacturing Company (A Division of the Heywood Wakefield Co.), Menominee, MI. I cannot find any information on this set from the web. Thanks! ~Stephanie
This photo is not of the actual item. It is the exact same however. The one diffrence between the two, is this photo has the top of the box broken off, where mine has the box still in one piece (altho the corners are showing wear).
