Illinois fob watch Serial #3445730 Still ticks. Has a few light marks or scratches on watch face below bevel. Has fob chain 11" long that feels like gold to me, but I do not know. Can send you more pics if you like.
Made of pure birdseye maple. Top left drawer locks. Right drawer has lock casing, but no ability to lock was installed. Bottom drawer also has lock casing. Beneath bottom drawer is a cabinet with two swining doors (both swing out). Mirror on top of dresser encased in wood trim. Simple wood decoration at top center above mirror.
A pair of table lamps, crafted from the etched wooden rollers used to print wallpaper in the 1930's. The wood is maple or hickory. Someone has painted them orange and they need to be stripped back to their beautiful natural wood. A unique item.
Says 14k gold and has serial number 9171623. It still ticks. I inherited watch from my father and did not know of it until I found it in a box along with a few others. I can send more pics if you like. Thanks!
I bought this item at a yard sale. The professor that I bought it from said that it was some sort of lid to a storage container. It is made out of pottery, terracotta,or etc. At the top there is about a one inch round hole in it. It is glazed, and crazed (small cracks over the whole surface). On the bottom left side has some type of maybe either volcanic rock, or other mineral stuck to it. It's non-magnetic, but I`m not sure what this is.The back is unglazed. I know this is very old,but I'd just like some information, such as how old it is, and an estimated value of this item.
