lay pitcher hand painted black with blue paint in the creveses or creases it has a peacock carved on one side and a line in a circular fashion very thin pitcher and oddly shaped it is numbered 621/22.
Sorry, no pictures. This is a beautiful piece. Acorns of brown and yellow , one on each side near the top hold the handle on. Handle is either a light weight wood or wicker. Black colored wicker wraps around the handle with a thin red colored strip running down throught the middle.Square shape bail handle.background color of jar is medium blue. swirl pattern surrounds intire jar base and lid, in relief. Also in relief are a group of yellow-orange colored trees on both the back and front sides.Trees are adorned with acorns. Lid has three sets of same trees and the lid has a single acorn atop .This piece looks very Art Nouveau.
All I know of these is that they are circa 1940. They have the Prins Willem Iv on each of them. They are made of silver and they are Dutch. I am curious as to how rare this item is and it's value.
