Antique Buffet with stained glass hutch

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

This was given to me when my parents re-did their home in modern furnishings. They bought this piece at an out-of-town antique market over 20 years ago. I never use the stained glass hutch so it's been well taken care of and stored in the basement. There is a light strip behind the stained glass so when you plug it in it lights up beautifully. As you can see, I use the buffet piece as an entertainment center. The buffet does need a little work as a tongue and groove piece is missing on the lower left side and the pull on the front drawer has been stripped (as seen here). I'm not really invested in the piece so it doesn't make sense for me to spend the time to fix these things myself if I'm just going to sell it. I want to offer it up to someone for less than it's worth that might be able to better restore it themselves and make a good home for it.

Gentlemans Corner Chair

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

This is a wooden carved gentlemans corner chair, it appears to be older maybe early to mid 1900's maybe earlier but is in a dark oak, I think it is from or made in Indonesia because it has a sticker on a piece of wood under seat, the seat is recovered in a newer fabric of a cloth with a floral design. The chair stands 31 1/2" from floor to the top of chair arms, the carving is very detailed with a woman face maybe in center of back top, It is in a good condition with the exception of a crack to the wood but is repairable, two small leaf chips also. The seat measures about 23" from corner to corner and fits tightly inside wooden bottom of chair, the seat measures from sise to side 15 3/4" across each way. Seat to floor measures 17". Overall condition good. I do not know the maker or even the period to be exact but will hope to do more research. Thank you kindly for any information at all.

Antique Bed - Slightly larger than a twin. Curved footboard

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

The headboard and footboard is carved. The footboard is curved. There is a number 3 located on the headboard. I am not sure if the 3 is a patent number. If it is Biddingtons Patent chart has the number 3 listed for 1836. The bed is a little larger than a twin bed.

Thank you for any help!
