1920’s child’s oak roll top desk and chair and 1920’s child spool rocking chair

Category
American Furniture
Description

I am trying to find the value for a 1920’s child’s oak roll top desk and chair. I have refinished it to golden oak color, sealed with shellac and repaired the broken tambour using tambour tape and tambour glue. I am not sure if the chair is original to the set or not. There is also a crack in the very top of the piece.

I am also interested in the value of a child’s spool rocker from the 1920’s. The rocker has been hand sanded and restore a finish has been applied followed by feed and wax. The seat and back fabric are also new to the piece. There is some previous insect damage to the bottom of one of the runners but doesn’t appear to impact structure or performance.

Help appraising this large abstract

Category
Paintings
Condition
Good
Description

The building I used to work at has been there since the late ‘50s. Nobody knows anything about this painting or how old it was. They didn’t want it anymore so I gave it a home. It’s signed “Lee Reynolds” and the back is numbered #138756(?).  It has lots of texture and is about 4ft x 3ft.

I’ve read about a Reynolds creating an “affordable art” studio in California around the 1950’s. That’s about all I know. Would appreciate any insight.

Antique or vintage table

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Fair
Description

I purchased this table a couple days  ago and it was listed as old but not vintage, when I started taking it apart to clean it seem to me that this table is not vintage but antique. Any feedback would be greatly appreciate. It has a marble top and looks to possibly be walnut with burl wood inlays.
