I don't know what it is and I do not see a silver stamp marking. Is it a tray but it has the raised flowers in center. I do not know where it came from. Someone donated it to our spiritual center. It is marked Jordan Sheffield Collection. I have searched for hours online and can not find anything similar.
It's an animal shaped piece covered in bone tiles, I know absolutely nothing factual about it. The person who ran the estate sale I got it from called it an antique Chinese dog planter, I don't believe any of those things except maybe "planter"
Ideally I would like to know:
- When it was made
- Where it was made
- What kind of animal it's supposed to be
- If there are other things like it (I've seen bone tile animals elsewhere but except for one bone tile parrot they're usually much less stylized than this thing)
- If I got played for a fool at the estate sale auction I got it from
A round coffee table, 80 cm diameter 46 cm height, with veneer decoration on its legs
It might be American ' maybe early 20th.
will appreciate help in identify and value
Antique sake set. Vendor says it is from 1850-1899 but I can't confirm that. They say it is based on the dynasty stamp but I feel it is too faded to be accurate. My guess is before 1945 but I can't be sure. It looks to be on great condition and I'm hoping to find the value and possibly a more accurate date.
I have a radiola 62 Highboy the cabinet is in perfect condition. the unit powers up and when you move the dial and hit a radio station in makes a noise but not music.
