These binoculars/opera glases are made of brass. 

The words "GEIVORZ & COLMONT* PARIS*" are engraved on the rim of the lenses.

Engraved on the front of the binoculars is "George to Maggie Dec 25/1886"

The figurine is a plain brown horse standing on a small patch of grass with a few rocks strewn about.  The horse is saddled and bridled and has leather reins that cross over the saddle.  The entire figure is mounted on a dark wooden base (stained a cherry wood color possibly).  The song that the figurine plays is the theme song from Chariots of Fire.  There is a label on the bottom of the wooden base that says "The San Francisco Music Box Company" and under that is "1994 the san francisco music box company".  there is also a "made in Thailand" sticker.

 I do not know much about this piece. A woman said that there are lines in the glass that indicate that the glass is really old. I dont know anything about it really. I am going to be visiting a few different appraisers that will be able to give me prices for the piece. I dont even know if it worth anything at all. Just curious.
