Supreme Court of the U.S. letter dated 5/6/66 signed by Justice Tom C. Clark and Law Magazine w/orig sign. of 6th supreme court

Category
Other
Condition
Excellent
Description

The magazine is titled "Equal Justice Under Law - The Supreme Court in American Life" copyright 1965 by the Foundation of the Federal Bar Asso.  Tucked inside the magazine was a typewritten note to a Brother Valkus.  The note was written by Justice Tom C. Clark and signed "Sincerely and fraternally yours".  He began the note by saying "We of the December 1965 33 degree Honorary Class deeply appreciate the excellent ceremony of coronation.  He goes on to say that he is sending a copy of a brochure on the Supreme Court edited by the National Geographic Society and publiched by the Federal Bar Foundation. He states that "on behalf of the class it is a token of the high esteem they have for the Degree Team and in appreciation of the wonderful experience afforded each of them in being members of the 33 degree.  It notes the address and the full name of the person it is being sent to.  Further into the magazine, I found a signature card glued to the page and imprinted with the Supreme Court of the United States.  The card is signed in various blue and black inks witht he signatures of all the sitting justices of the 6th Supreme Court.
