This chair was my moms and it has been in the family all my life .The bottom of the chair has The company name Nichols and Stone CO .Also reads Uss Ironside with a carved ship in the wood
This plate has a "crackeled" finish. The plate has a calander around the scalloped edegs dated 1916. The writing on the plate says Compliments of A.D. Rossin 1243 W. 32nd Street, Chicago.
The plate is trimmed in what looks like 24 k gold, it also has a name on the back which I think says DE Hancock plate company?
I have a very beautiful Italian floral ceramic pedestal that was once in an Italian Church. The pedestal was brought back from Italy and given as a gift to my family by a Catholic priest, a friend of the family. The pedestal spent some time in St. Catherine's Church in Hillside, NJ. It is simply beautiful and has very detailed sculptured flowers and stenciling. The vase is a little less than four feet high and the top bowl is about one and one half feet wide and is at least 60 years old.
I would like to have an idea of how much this pedestal may be worth as a family heirloom. Please see attached pictures. I don't know if I want to sell it.
Found in Hiwassee River in TN around 25-30 years ago. Possibly from the Cherokee Indians since they inhabited that area, Would like to find value and more information.
