This is a wooden crucifix about 8 inches long and has a mahogony color stain on it. Attached to the crucifix are the symbols of Christ death on the cross. Christ has above his head a medallion and the letters "INRI", with a pitcher, cup, tools, sword, bottle, skulls and bones, cup and bowl, and a curtain with Jesus's face. These are all metal pieces attached to the cross with also metal rods behind the cross. Small nails are used to attach the metal pieces.

Made in Japan Satsuma style vase.  12 1/2" H X 6 1/2" W (Approx.)

Made in Japan stamped on bottom with apparent stamp also.

I inherited this painting from my family.  My father purchased it at an art gllery in NYC in the 60's.
