I don't really know what this item is. I have had it for a long time and purchased it because i liked it. It appears that it is some sort of clay food cooker/warmer, but I may be totally wrong. It measures approx. 21 1/2" long, it is quite heavy. It has 4 circular holes through each side and the item is the shape of a fish or shark. The mouth is wide open and appears that something can be placed inside. The top looks like food or something can be placed on it. It is glazed natural clay color. All hand carved and made. No markings that are visual. Please help! I would like to sell it, but don't know what it is exactly.
Almost like a small pitcher, hand blown amber glass surrounded by pewter decorated with cherubs in different poses and scenes intricate carvings no visible makersmarks found only one similar on ebay but it is gone now. That description stated it had characteristics of WMF but again no markings.
Attached are 3 pictures of a silver service and tray set . I took the pictures with my cell phone and the exposure doesn't look too good. The pieces look like they are tarnished. But they are not. Rather just poor lighting. They are all in really good condition.
The tray is about 25" long. On the back of the items is the name of EPCA Bristol Silver by Poole. And each piece has a number below the name. On the tray the number is 73 22. The other pieces have the number 110. I have been the sole owner of the set as it was a wedding gift 50 years ago.
