Parker and Field scissors

Category
Other
Condition
Good
Description

I think these are cast steel, they have a dark gray patina.  The rivet holding the sides together is yellow and appears to be hand hammered.  I searched ebay & google and found no results for "Parker & Field"  I assume they are at least pre-1918 because of the "Prussia" stamp.  Any info would be appreciated.

S. Bent and Bros of Mass antique oak chairs

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Fair
Description

Hi.  I found this set at a garage sale a few years back.  The couple said that they had also purchased the set second hand in NY so they did not know anything about the origin of the set.  Some of the horizontal dowels are missing, as are a few of the structural screws.  They are very rickety at this point and I'd like to know if this set is valuable and worth restoring.  If I sold it, how much could I ask as-is?  (I'm sorry, but I cant' manage to insert a photo.  Is there an email address that I can mail it to?)
