I was given the buffet in 1982, but now my wife wants to sell it, and that's why I want to know how much it is worth and/ or how to sell it. It has a few minor scatches throughout. All of the doors and drawers work well. The top left drawer has a built in devider. I don't know what kind of wood it is made out of. The bottom of the drawers are dark brown (perhaps mohagany?).
The size of a sofa table, all 4 legs have the same detailed carving that ends in some type of claw foot. All 4 sides are carved and on the table top all 4 corners have the same carving. The center features a circular design. The table has a few minor nicks and 1 "seam" looks to be coming apart, as if the top was made of 2 pieces of wood pressed together. The picture of the side carving up close shows the "dots" in the carving. Never seen anything like it before.
