i got this from an auction house. it is made of porcelain. it stand 4 3/8" high by 9" wide rim to rim. it weighs 2lbs 4.7 ounces. there is a mark on the bottom that is NANT_GARW with no other marks or impressions. very nice gilt work and hand painted floral design.
very old antique 1800,s common book of prayers this dates back to 1877 at least as it has a message in the front which reads william f fowler, the gift of his godfather on his first birthday june 6th 1877, so its dated as far back has 1877 may be either further than that
