I got this at an auction and wondering if it is refurbished, which company made this, if it's not authentic, what maker's marks have been removed, etc. The only distinguishing mark is the metal plate with an apparent serial number on it on the inside of the door (1558-7390) It looks too good to be that old! Thank you so much for any additional info. Best,
These were my great grandmother's. I inherited it upon her passing. It is a pair I believe. One is now cracked. i am not sure what the proper care to repair that would be. I certianly don't want the repair to damge it's value further. I am in need of fincacial assitance at this time. I would like to find a vendor to sell these item to also if possible.
I recently acquired a Reproduction Reed & Barton Porringer marked RP53 on the bottom. Anything you can tell me about its value and history would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
