Marble Clock with Iron/Bronze Statues

Category
Clocks
Condition
Fair
Description

My father recently received a clock from his mother's house, which she had possessed since the 70's. The base is made of pure white marble and the two statues are made of an unidentified metal and have developed a yellow and clay-colored patina. The statues are of women which appear to be wearing tunics or togas, one holding a fish and the other holding a bird and a bow. The statue holding the fish has a hand which looks like it was, at one point, holding a spear or a trident, which has since been lost or removed.

The clock itself sits in a turret-like encasement of marble between the statues, and does not function.

A black iron cup sits on top of the turret. The bolt holing the cup in place is detached from a wood base, which has also detached from the turret.

Entire set came with a pair of vases, same art design, appears to be same metal, also on white marble bases.

I really know nothin about this particular piece. Any and all feedback or suggestions would be helpful.
