Its stamp says bassett furniture industries corp. Its a full size bedroom suite with 2 endtables, bed, chest, and dresser with mirror. I would love to know the history and age and also worth thanks.
I came across this photo in a very old frame with a split back, its a photo of Beethoven with a signature of C. Jager 1870 off the shoulder and also behind the frame there is some kind of printseller stamp from William Everitt Bath address 10&12 bridge st.
Was given by father inlaw. Was an antique collector. Dated 1713 made of pewter. The scene is a hunter and his dog. Inside is a medallion of a flower each foot has a Chereb. There is coat of arms on the front a set of three. Stands 11 inches high.
I am seeking an appraisal for an amazing Early 1800's mahogany Secretary that I wanted to take to the antiques roadshow tour here in KC this summer. It was owned by a Kansas City Socialite who had connections to MANY of the past founders of Kansas City. A complete catalog of city leaders she met and their newspaper clippings and personal correspondence They shared. Plus much more. This gorgeous piece is over 7 foot tall has never been refinished even has the original green felt In the desk. Handmade beautiful details and a style that is classic and not too busy. Take a look and let me know if you have a idea!
It is solid woods, tongue and groove construction.
There are three vanity pieces! All are cobalt blue in color, two are about six inches high and the other is around 4 inches. There is gold edging around each of the pieces. You can tell it is blown glass by looking at the bottom of each piece. I do not see any distinguishing marks. Also has the original powder puff. Any information will be helpful, value, age, name! Thank you...or even if its of no value, I still would like to know about it!
