Category
Stamps
Condition
Excellent
Description

Original "America's Golden Eagles" Stamp Collection printed and designed in 1981 by The Gold Collection Limited of West Redding, CT 06896.  The company may not still exist, but there (supposedly) were no more prints made since 1981.

I have all original 18-Stamps in 22K Gold including Certificate of Authenticity.  The Series of 18 Stamps in 22K Gold is stated to be "Issued by Authority of the Postal Agent, Staffa, Scotland"

All included in their original Blue Binder with Eagle on Front, and with "made in England" printed on back of Binder. All Gold Stamps comes with it's own story of the orginal coin each stamp was copied from.

Gold stamps date from 1795 to 1933 Eagles, Half Eagles, Double Eagles

Lincoln style rocking chair

Category
Furniture
Condition
Excellent
Description

I have a Lincoln Style mahogny rocking chair with carved relief on the top seat back rail and bottom seat rail of the chair.  The arms and back of the chair are upholstered and the arms have very ornate carved curls in them.  I believe it was made sometime around the 1870's but I am not sure.

I am interested in knowing what the value is for this chair and if you agree with the approximate date of manufacture.  Do you have any idea where it may have been made?  There are no manufacturer stamps, numbers or carved names in the frame.

I could not add anymore pictures because all of them are just over 2 MB each.  If you want I can send more by email.

Thank you for your help.

4 Panel Japanese Black Lacquer marble inlaid headboard

Category
Asian Art
Condition
Good
Description

A 4 panel......EXTREMELY HEAVY.......i can barely lift it.........It is Black lacquer with the most gorgeous marble inlay... A lot of the inlay in 2 dimensional and rises out of the wood. There is a Japanese symbol in panel 1

It has very intricate design with a Japanese motif.

Each panel is apprx. 68 inches long and each panel is 16 inches wide!!

Sadly, I don't know a lot of the history of it. It is part of my parents estate and all they did was rave about it..!! This is why I am putting it on here.
