The seats are made from horse hair and at one point the arms were covered in fabric. I am usure if the fabric was origional. The colors were green and black. I could not find any markings or stamps on the chair.
The crocheted porcelain is a great piece that was made by Emil Ficher. This was one of 3 made like this and last my client heard the other 2 are located in the white house. This came from Budapest, Hungary by way of Zoltan Tomanovits. After his passing, my client inherited these pieces. It does have one chip in the piece but still an excellent unique piece.
don't know much about it. got it after helping someone move. think it was like 1995-99
it was give to me after finding it in a pile of garbage. he told me he had it when he was a kid and got it from his dad. it will tern your finger green, and i think it's copper with some plateing on it.
This set has never been used and is kept on display in a china cabinet. Pieces included are as follows:4 Tea Pots and Covers, 4 Cups and Saucers, 2 Large Creamers, 2 Small Creamers, 1 Sugar Holder and 4 Dessert Plates.
Truly a beautiful collectable set for afternoon tea.
