I don't know the age of this suitcase, but really want to know more about it and if it is worth something. I also want to make sure it is real, everything looks right to me, but I need an expert opinion. The biggest problem I have with it is that there is a customized initials label (H.J.C.) on a leather piece of fabric sowed in. See picture for other issues/questions.
We have acquired this painting through the family. We know it is considered a reverse painting on glass, but there isn't a signature or any distinguishing marks. We have been told it might be of French origin. We are looking for any history on it and even what it may be worth.
