This chair has a curved seat measuring 17" front to back and 18" side to side. You can tell there used to be a label on the under side of the seat (small corner of tag left) but no markings or print is on it. Very sturdy, seems it may be oak but the seat is made of a lighter weight wood.
doors have beveled in wood, raised wood about 3 inches (beveled), has 2 dawers, on rollers, bottom is detailed with curves, to is straight, has skeleton key on door, knobs are not original, very pretty. Man who refinished it said for me not to touch it that I didnt know what i had ahold of. He said get an apprasel for it was worth some money.
It has bebeled wood doors, bevel is 3 inches wide all around the doors, the wood on the back looks old, the bottom is detailed with curves in it, has rollers under legs, has skeleton key place which is black, it has 2 drawers, the knobs and handles were missing. It reminds me, the make of louis phillet. I did have it refinished and the man who did it said to get an apprasel that I didnt know what I had ahold of. He said it was worth alot of money and that I shouold not refinish but I did.
