I tried doing a little research online, but the only thing I kept coming up with was Malcom Leland. I (now) know he was a mid-century potter, best known for his architectural pottery in the 1950-60's.

I found a few pictures of his smaller architectural work such as planters and vase pieces, but nothing as small as this. They looked very similar to this piece. Did he create smaller items? If not Malcolm Leland, does anyone know another Leland that did such pottery? Any insight as to the age, maker, and approximate value would be greatly appreciated.

I bought a headboard/footboard from an estate sale in an old hotel in downtown knoxville.  It's very unique... I've never seen anthing like it before.

The headboard and foot board are both curved on the sides - so it surrounds the ends of the bed.  It's all wood, the edges of it are duncan phyfe style.  The side facing the bed looks like wood veneer.

It's in storage and I can't access it for pics at the moment.

Anyone have any idea?
