I would love to identify this chair, it was a gift, I have the missing piece from the carving. Any help would be appreciate. The chair is assembed with very old looking flat head screws, I identified the label as a partial from the Michigan Chair company, but can not read the chair number as it has disappearred, it looked like they were written on.
There are 3 different scenes of Chinese village/people painted on each side of the bowl. Predominantly color is pink and green - Familie Rose. It has a chop at the bottom, has a porcelain glaze to, has 3 carp/gold fish painted inside/painting on the rim.
MY MOTHER GAVE THIS TO ME AND I KNOW THAT IT IS VERY OLD.SHE HAS A NEWSPAPER ARTICLE WITH A PICTURE OF THIS THAT SOLD FOR $2,200 BACK IN 2001. i BELIEVE IT IS SPANISH LACE IN CRANBERRY COLORED GLASS. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE VALUE OF THIS ?
