This is a rare lot of 3 issues of Black Creation magazine vol1 #1, 2, 3.  They were conceived by the black students of new york university and published by the Institute of Afro-American affairs.

They contain fascinating content consisting of photos, commentary poetry etc.  all 3 are in superb condition and are complete with no cover separations at all. I found them in a second hand store a few years ago.  Since then, I have been told that they are quite rare. I would be most interested in anything that you can tell me about them including value if possible

 Purse is woven micro beads and gold colored thread with a beaded woven handle.  The design motif could be American Indian or Middle Eastern.  

I have a wooden chest with the label George Zee & Co. Art Carved Furniture Manufacturers 142 Nanking Rd. Eastern Shanghai Cable Address "Goergze" Made in China. I believe as a child I was told it was toe carved but do not know any other history. During my research of this item I see that many of his pieces were made in Hong Kong and this piece was made in China. It has no serial # on the label as it may be possible this was made before Mr. Zee moved his business to Hong Kong and began adding serial #'s to his work. If anyone knows any info on this piece Please contact me. Thank you so much.

purchased some 15 yrs ago in the south west of england a large original oil by Robert Cox of a very large bowl of flowers,beutifully painted and in excellent condition.

Robert cox unfortunately died in 2001.
