Pair of Glass lamps wired for use in USA. Wood bottem as HK sticker on it. Electrical unit is Levitan. Is this a murano glass rewired by home owner or just junk?
The print is titled "When The Shadows Fall"...Pale glows the moon, and casts its gleam, O'er quiet mill and hurrying stream. There is wrting on the back of this print which says: $220.00/Hand painted quantine print/En. Included/Double tassel (which has lines drawn through it)/card silk/Ex. for printing/ the nuber 2806 is written on back.
I am not sure what kind of table this is. I was thinking maybe a Antique Dry Basin table, Not sure though. I bought it from my husbands Aunt some years ago. Its in good condition. It does have some wear ontop of it but nothing severe. The wheels are in great shape also. such a beautifil peice!
Asian art apperience 7cm tall 4cm wide at widest part oval shape. Fine detail layered carvings of two different scenes; one side ha man standing in garden with house to his side overlooking the open land with mountains in the back ground, the othere being Two men sitting on the grass having a cup of tea with the teapot by their side further to the side there is a large tree, there is a house behind them with mountains in the background.The lid is carved in a flower like design with brasy coloured ring at the base of lid, lid has a sm cork like plug. the bottom is edged with a simle pattern then down to a section of uncarved to the same brasy coloured ring around the bottom. The is asian writing on the bottom also.
I purchased these books from a thrift store. There is a soft brown leather material (I think) on the spine and green leather on the sides. The books were published in 1901.
