Isaly's, a delicatessen/ice cream shop in north eastern Ohio. It was popular from the 1950's into the 1990's. This deck of promotional cards is from the owner's son from the North Jackson shop.I can not find a maker of the cards. They are shrink- wrapped, never opened. The outer window box has some wear from age, and not being stored properly, but looks great. Isaly's was known around the Youngstown, Ohio area. It was an early chain type store.

 I know he purchased it somewhere around India decades ago and that's it. Having trouble downloading the pictures so i will email them to you for apparaisal and/or purchase.

 Half the pieces are sandlewood, the black ones not so sure, i have been told ebony...mother of pearl inlaid around edges. that's about all i know. Pieces are in great shape except one broken head on camel and a couple broken tusks on elephants. I think it's handcarved because none of the pieces are identical.

 This plate was left to me. I have kept it safe however Im not sure if In should just throw it away. I have spent hojr son the net trying to discover if its really a Maddock plate as the markings re different from the ones I look at. I also would like to know the age of it. Can anyone help me please.
