Hi there! My father inherited my aunt's bedroom set when she passed. We are hoping to get some help identifying the furniture and a very rough estimated value as we are trying to determine if we should donate or try to sell it. Unfortunately we just don't have room to keep this in combining households. My grandfather bought this set as a wedding present for my grandmother in 1936, they were living in St. Louis MO at the time. We should have taken a better photo before we had to move the furniture so I am hoping this may be enough information as a neighbor had to help with these photos. There are no photos of the bed which is all original except for the mattress support slats. The lights on the dressing table have been rewired for safety reasons. I am unsure of the wood used, the furniture is surprisingly light but in incredibly good shape. The inside of the wardrobe does have a cedar smell to it. The bench is the only piece that is showing quite a bit of wear. Everything except for the bed is on wheels. There is a mirror that also attaches to the dresser that they didn't get a photo of. Any information is much appreciated. Thank you so much for your help! All Pictures: https://imgur.com/a/lr0uxm8
John Lee Clown Sculpture, I don’t have too much information on the item but I do know that the name mentioned is imprinted on the piece, as well as the code “554/7500” written in black ink on the front. The sculpture seems a bit dirty but there is not much visible wear other than that.
I can't find any comparable items or this item to get a value on it. It is a light bulb with a silver certificate one dollar bill inside. I believe it was a marketing item to show the value of a new style light bulb. I know it came from a Safeway Supermarket around the Washington DC area.
