1 Table and 4 chairs. Chairs have red and white striped cloth seat covers with green and gold pinstripe. Also 2 leafs.
The markings are; An eagle and the words "Styled By Phoenix" inside a circle.
A stamp that reads 374-XT FR. WALNUT
Hand written P101 #374 PROV. WALNUT
Stamp on the wooden slides that reads The Watertown Slide, Patented and Manufactured by, Watertown Table Slide Corperation, Watertown Wisconsin
The item has the picture of a globe and a sword through it(underneath). The words on it read Bona Frma melnor zona aurea, when I typed it in google I found a similar description as:"Bona Fama Est Melior Zona Aurea" and Alba china so I'm not sure if the two are the same and I am having difficulty reading it.
I have three items: a large bowl, a mug with a handle and a glass (all made of china) with gray flower pattern.
I would like to know its history and value.
Thanks
It is a picture of a bridge in Rome with water running under it and buildings in the background.. It is in perfect condition with a gold frame with a small plaque in the middle of the bottom with the name Romantic Rome on it.. The artist name is in the bottom left corner of E.F. Karger.. Its very beautiful..
This is a brown leather cavalry saddle. The leather is in great condition as is the girth strap. The stippup irons are probably not both original because it appears they are made out of two differnt kind of metal. the rubber sturrip pads say "made in china" on the bottom. There is no year on the saddle plate but it says "The Julius J. Bantlin Co. Warranted Whitman Saddle re. us pat. off. Cincinnati OH
I did some research and it appears that Julius Bantlin had a leather store in Cincinnati OH at 425 Vine St. I couldn't find any mention of his store beore 1934.
