I have an interesting piece of quality porcelain which has many characteristics of Chinese flambe period works, but to validate any assumptions, identification of the mark on the base of this vase would be very helpful.
Are there any knowledgeable persons with oriental expertise that could help with translating the mark on this vase.

Maple 8 spindle armed rocker.

This set was past down from my mother. It was her fathers and has his initials on each piece. Curious as to the age of it, and the value. Don't know if the markings/stamp would reveal that to the experts. It is tarnished and needs cleaning but don't know really how to do it. There are 5 pieces.

I've had this "Willy the Hillbilly" Mountain Dew Man since 1972. I also have the original promo bottle. It is safely wrapped up and boxed away.
