Antique Burl Wood three legged side table. Hand carved features, and hand fitted assembly. Possibly from Thailand in 1800, although could be European. 26" high by 19" diameter.
Condition overall is very good for it's age. The top has a crack between 2 sections of the burl, and there is a watermark that could probably be easily removed.
I attached photos. I have 4 of these. I am trying to get some information about them such as aprox era they were made and a value as well. There are no markings on them. I am not even sure what the metal material is on the front. They need a good cleaning but have no dents or major imperfections. Any help would be appreciated. They measure aprox: 12"H x 12"L.
Don't know much about this, but I do know that it is very old and made out of pewter. Saw some teapots on ebay that were similar and went for $350.00 but they weren't as intricate as this one is.
I have a solid oak highboy that has a tooled leather design of a knight in silver armor on a horse on his hind legs, with a road leading to a faint castle. It has double doors that opens up to one shelf. It has a pull out drawer on top of that. It is 59 1/2 inches tall ,36 inches wide and 15 1/2 inches deep. There is a solid slab on top that is 41 1/2 inches wide ,161/2 inches deep and 1 inch thick. It has hammered iron hardware. The front opens with a slide latch. There is no marks to indentify that I can find. I have never seen any thing with the leather design inserted in the cabinet. anything you could tell me woule be much appreciated. Thank you , Kelly Rasella
