Very large painting I bought at a yard sale,painting thick and beautiful,old english knight on horse,signed with a name I can't make out,maybe someone can help me to find out who the artist is.
I'm not sure what this is,maybe someone can help me by identiflying it,I thought it was a paperweight but the top comes off to reveil a wood piece stuck inside,looks like an insignal that was used to stamp papers or something,this was found in a garbage dumpster,can somebody please tell me what this is and value.
2008-10-08 This is the commisioning pennant for the U.S.S. Fleming,a destroyer named for Richard E. Fleming who lost his life in the battle of Midway and was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.This is not a copy and is a one and only.My father was a High School history teacher for fifty years and accumulated a great deal of military,political,and baseball(CUBS) memorabilia.Like most of his treasures, we have no idea where he obtained it but suspect he paid a fair amount for it.My mother does want to sell this item once we have an idea of a fair value.
2 chairs - 1 was orange leather and the other was turqoise. I have them re upholstered in a tan color. I would like to know who the manufacturer is and what they are worth.
