Chinese painting with calligraphy at the top. My late grand uncle left it to me and said it was from a famous Chinese artist. I have no idea. It's large and with the glass and frame, very heavy to move.
Great condition . Set of 4 chairs. I remember a tag on the frame and after looking it up they were made in Pennsylvania. The factory that made them burnt down in the early 1900's and the maker reopened. That's all I remember since the tag is long gone.
I have a late 1800's to early 1900's arts & crafts tiger oak chair. Hand made with pegs, it is a beautiful tiger oak, It is an arm chair, seat upholstered, and the back is slatted with an inverted spade or heart cutout. A gorgeouse chair and I researched and found a few very similar by Scottish makers, Wylie & Lochhead, Limbert and others. I would like to know the value.
