This Box is made of Sterling Silver and is lined with wood. There are several markings that will make it easy to identify it's origin. The markings are as follows:

FRONT-(Stamped 1/2'' ) -[Ω]
SIDE PANEL-(Upper left corner Stamped in recessed rectangle) -(3) Makers markings;

2. [Silversmiths Mark] Unknown maker, the symbol is a shield divided into 3 parts with a circle in each of the sections.

The box has a hinged lid and it's finish is a tooled pattern with 1/4'' smooth polished borders. The entire box is Silver except for the bottom. The bottom has a 1/4'' border of silver which is marked and the rest is the cedar inner lining which shows through.
