Square shaped with two tiers end table. The table has scalloped edges trimmed with brass and ornate legs. The top is a white marbled pattern with gold veins.
I found this in my parents' storage room. They bought it about 40 years ago from a little place in the French Quarter in New Orleans. It appears to be a painting of ducks in a bayou scene. I don't know how else to describe it so I've attached a photo.
We bought this Russian icon in 1991 from a little town with a monastery in The Golden Ring, which loops around Moscow.
I am not really sure but it appears to be copper, heavy grad patina, with oil painting of Mary and child, wrapped around a very dark, aged wood. Looks hand-hewned, some inscription on bottom front - not sure what it reads.
I believe the teapot and cups were handpainted by Kimmel. The items were created by H & C. I found a number of markings representing Haviland creations, but none exactly like the one on the bottom of this teapot. The pot and one cup is in excellent condition, but one cup has been broken and repaired.
