I have purchased a rectangle platter with burgandy and gold flowers. It is stamped on the back dresden war rented china. It is a yellowish color and is crackled. I have searched for a week on the Internet and have only come up with it is by potters co-operative co. I have yet to find one like it please help. Would like to know date made and value
I would like to find out the year it was made the company who made it and the value of it today. I have found no marking of any kind. I was told that it belonged to a lady who past away 15 years ago. She had it for 80 years and her grandmother who had it for several years before that gave it to her. It is in rough shape which i would like to fix but want to find out if it would increase or decrease the value first.
brass looking lighter looks like the base is a liquor bottle one side it has the letters V.S.O.P, below that the word MARTE and near the bottom the word MEDAILLON. on the other side it has a heart that has a design that resembles a spider? for lack of any better description, below the heart are the numbers 888. The top of the lighter looks like a womans head with a ponytail, the ponytail pulls back to reveal the area of the flame. I think it could have possibly been a liquor company promotional item. Any ideas how old it is or it's history?
